The nervous system is one of the most important systems in the body. It controls and has a part in nearly every function that the body does. Without the nervous system, it would be impossible to feel pain or any other kind of sensation. One of the main parts of the nervous system is the brain. The spinal cord also plays a major roll in the nervous system. The nervous system is run very similarly to an electrical system and can short out if not taken care of properly. There are many things that can go wrong with the nervous system if it is not taken care of. One of these very serious health issues is a risk of dementia. Therefore it is very important to take care of the nervous system.
Exercise is an important part of caring for the nervous system. Be sure you are getting at least 15 to 30 minutes of aerobic activity at least three times a week. This will help your nervous system control the body.
Vitamin D is one of the most important vitamins for the brain and nervous system. People who are not exposed to vitamin D are often depressed and gloomy. One of the easiest ways to get vitamin D is to get daily sun exposure. About 15 minutes a day is enough. Just be sure to use sunscreen!

For me, the best way to take care of the nervous system is to eat right and exercise.
Pyridoxine, also known as, vitamin B6 is one of the most important vitamins to promote good nervous system. Wink

The best basis for the heath of any body function and system is a healthy diet. Everyone knows this, but few people actually follow a healthy eating plan. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables every day. It is easy to replace poor eating habits with good ones. Instead of cereal for breakfast, eat a banana. For lunch eat a sandwich that has a lot of fresh veggies on it and use a whole grain bread. Stay away from sodas and chips. Dinner can be steamed vegetables, a baked potato, a fresh salad and a small amount of meat. Moreover, exercise is an important part of caring for the nervous system. Be sure you are getting at least 15 to 30 minutes of aerobic activity at least three times a week. This will help your nervous system control the body.

Tips on how to take care of the nervous system:
1. To protect the brain, avoid any fall or accident that can injure it. Observe safety measures to avoid falls and accidents.
2. Eat foods for the brain and the nerves. These foods are those rich in Vitamin B like beans, peas, mongo, and vegetables.
3. Coffee, tobacco, and alcoholic drinks are not good for the nervous system. Medicines and drugs should be taken only with a doctor’s prescription or advice.
4. Learn the art of relaxing your mind, nerves, and senses. Use your leisure time wisely.

For me I think water is a necessary part of nervous system functions.
After all, about 70% of the body is water!
Drink plenty of water every day.
At least 8 glasses is the minimum you should be drinking to take care of your nervous system.
