The benefits of doing this practice are beneficial to everyone.
1. Physical strength: It is a great tool for toning, and to improve flexibility. A good teacher will focus on instructing proper alignment to avoid injuries. In doing so, poses like Warrior I, Cobra Pose, and Down Dog are particularly beneficial for your posture and core strength.
2. Improves Concentration: Yoga provides a continuous flow of concentration and mediation that can be used as a tool for your everyday life. A good yoga class will leave you with a sense of inner peace that will last you throughout your day. This will help with decision-making and improve your concentration on tasks at hand.
3. Stress Relief: Yoga uses many different breathing-control techniques. By spending an hour or an hour and thirty minutes in a yoga class, doing movements that require you to inhale and exhale, can result in relieving tension that you may be holding in your body. This allows you to keep your attention inwards so that you can begin to notice moments when you are not breathing (like when your stressed out).

Yoga Lowers Blood Sugar in Diabetics
Certain yoga asanas, if practiced regularly, are known to have beneficial effects on human body. Researchers at the University College of Medical Sciences, in Shahdara, New Delhi evaluated 24 patients aged 30 to 60 year old who had non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus, also called Type II diabetes. Diabetics who require insulin are called Type I, while Type II diabetics are treated with diet, exercise, and oral medicines that lower blood sugar. The researchers evaluated the baseline fasting blood sugar levels of the patients, and they also performed pulmonary function studies. These pulmonary function studies measure lung capacity and the amount of air that can be exhaled within the first second of a rapid exhale.

there are many benefits of do yoga.
here are dome of them:
Physical: The movements of yoga will carve out a long, lean, strong, and confident body.

Mental: All those deep breaths reset your mind back to its natural state: calm, focused, and sharp.

Psychological: All the focusing inward illuminates our behaviors and tendencies. The same habits we have on our mat are the ones we have in our lives. We see this, and we gain the freedom of choice. Who do I want to be? We get to create or re- create ourselves each day. Regular practice gives you a clear mind and the inspiration and courage to be constantly expanding and improving your life.

Neurological: When your brain is “on yoga” your neurological system is brought back into balance and is conditioned to steer you naturally toward a healthy lifestyle. Our bodies are constantly rewired to make whatever we practice get easier. When we practice healthy, balanced living we get more healthy, balanced living.

Intuitive: When there is tension in the body and mind, your intuition gets buried and your body switches to survival mode. Your yoga practice makes space in your body physically, releases tension, and calms your mind, making room for your intuition to float to the surface and guide you.

Creative: Creative juices start to flow when your body and mind begin to release mental blocks. Creativity doesn’t like to come out when there are stressors, whether from physical tension or mental cloudiness. When the stress melts away, creativity can come out to play.

Connected: Yoga is the practice of getting connected. However you choose to view your spirituality, when you practice yoga, you remember that we all are connected, here to help each other, and that we have so much potential when we are kind to others.

You sleep better when you do yoga.
If you do yoga before bed, you will hit the hay relaxed, de-stressed and with all of the day’s aches,
pains and kinks worked out of your system. Even if you have no trouble falling asleep,
yoga will help you sleep soundly through the night. How does this help your vibration?
Well… remember the last time you missed out on a good night’s sleep? Were you chipper and cheerful,
or grumpy and lethargic? And how was the rest of your day?
Was it tainted by low-vibrating grumpiness or did you manage to snap out of it?

Most of us never take a deep breath all day long. The most fundamental practice in yoga is the deep, belly breath through the nose. The diaphragm is a large muscle located just below the lungs that ideally should pull down the lungs during inspiration. This is why young children push their stomach out when sleeping or exercising. Adults need to do the same. Yoga helps clean blood of waste material , and trains us to loosen muscles and joints that are ignored in our day-to-day lives.
Finally, yoga gets us to focus our minds on remote parts of our body—like tight joints and muscles—as we gently but firmly deepen into our poses. For people like me, meditation proves difficult because our mind wonders. But if we can concentrate on the tension in our hips as we empty our mind, then we are well on the way.

Yoga provides little cardio benefit; power yoga does a bit better, giving the heart the same aerobic workout as a brisk stroll. In a recent study, after eight weeks of doing yoga three times a week, participants boosted their total body flexibility by an average of 24 percent. In a test of strength, they managed an average of six more push-ups and 14 more curl-ups. You can achieve inner peace. Yoga has been shown to lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol even after one session. It can also reduce the intensity and frequency of hot flashes by 30 percent, relieves back pain better than traditional exercises, and ease arthritis.

Women who practiced regularly rated their body satisfaction 20 percent higher than did those who took aerobics, even though both groups were at a healthy weight.
