| I have some tips to tell you about how to take care skin in winter. Here are some tips to prep your skin for a better winter shave: 1) Stay hydrated. Drink. Drink. Drink. Filling up on eight glasses of water per day may seem like a challenge, but you really need to quench thirsty winter skin. 2) Avoid over-washing. Don’t wash your face in the shower and before shaving. Too much soap and water can over-dry your skin. 3) Skip the toner. Toners work well to remove excess oil from the skin, but it can lead to skin irritation when applied to dry winter skin that actually needs that extra oil. 4) Use soap-free cleanser. Soaps contain surfactants that can remove skin oils that you need to maintain a healthy skin barrier. Just like toners, soaps may be abrasive during the winter. If your skin can’t tolerate soap, think about the non-soap cleansers that may be milder for you. 5) Don’t forget pre- and post-shaving care. Always shave after showering. Moisture-softened whiskers are easier to cut than hard ones, regardless of the season. Use shaving gel and take light razor strokes. Then, finish with a heavier cream moisturizer (as opposed to a light lotion) to hydrate your dry skin.

| You may have found a moisturizer that works just fine in spring and summer. But as weather conditions change, so, too, should your skin care routine. Find an "ointment" moisturizer that's oil-based, rather than water-based, as the oil will create a protective layer on the skin that retains more moisture than a cream or lotion. (Hint: Many lotions labeled as "night creams" are oil-based.) But choose your oils with care because not all oils are appropriate for the face.

| A good way to moisturise your dry skin in winter is straight after a shower. The moisturiser will lock in all the water from your shower and it doesn't take long so it will be easy to put in your schedule. You can also try using aloe vera gel because aloe vera is renowned for its skin-loving care, it can be used as a moisturiser for dry skin or just normal skin. It also doesn't hurt to drink lots of water everyday.

| For many people, the cold clear days of winter bring more than just a rosy glow to the cheeks. They also bring uncomfortable dryness to the skin of the face, hands, and feet. For some people, the problem is worse than just a general tight, dry feeling: They get skin so dry it results in flaking, cracking, even eczema (in which the skin becomes inflamed). 1. Seek a Specialist If you go to your local drugstore, you'll be hard put to find a salesperson who can give you good advice. That's why going to an esthetician or dermatologist even once is a good investment. Such a specialist can analyze your skin type, troubleshoot your current skin care regimen, and give you advice on the skin care products you should be using. 2. Moisturize More You may have found a moisturizer that works just fine in spring and summer. Instead, look for "nonclogging" oils, like avocado oil, mineral oil, primrose oil, or almond oil. Shea oil -- or butter -- is controversial, because it can clog facial pores. And vegetable shortening, LaPlante says, is a really bad idea. "It would just sit on the skin," she says. "And it would be really greasy." 3. Slather on the Sunscreen No, sunscreen isn't just for summertime. Winter sun -- combined with snow glare -- can still damage your skin. Try applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen to your face and your hands (if they're exposed) about 30 minutes before going outside. Reapply frequently if you stay outside a long time.

| My experience is to wash with a moisturized body wash and while skin is still wet to apply Lubiderm lotion. By applying Lubiderm lotion when the skin is still wet this allows my skin to absorb and lock in the moisture. Drinking 8 ounces of water several times a day helps to keep skin from dehydrating. I use Nivea Night Facial Cream because I love the cooling calming effect i feel and it leaves my face hydrated non oily but great! Unfortunately the Body Moisturizer from Nivea is too watered down and does not have enough to keep my body skin from dehydrating or enough to keep it from feeling dry. Personal expereince Lubiderm locks in body moisture, Nivea Nighttime Facial cream Locks in facial moisturizer, Glysomed repairs damaged dry feet along with Utters Cream. Jergens smells great but needs to be re-applied several times a day as well as Vaseline also needs re applying to be effective.

| I don't take care my skin well. I just know that many people always use lotion. I think more important thing to do is drinking a lot of water. It cake make moisture in your skin staying for a long time.

| The first thing you need to keep in mind to tackle the effects of winter is daily moisturisation. One has to remember that winter, summer or any other season, moisturising your skin is a priority to ensure that the skin glows with youth. Something that people tend to ignore a lot during winters is the need for using sunscreen. No matter how warm the sun feels during this time, it's harsh effects on your skin are hard to miss. Always apply sunscreen before you step outdoors. Jiraprapa 015 4EN | |

| Sun protection in the winter is a must, especially when you build snowmen, sled or ski on sunny days with your family. According to the Canadian Dermatology Association, snow reflects up to 80 percent of the sun’s shine, which means you get almost a double dose of radiation when you play outside. So coat your complexion in sunscreen. You can layer moisturizer over your sunscreen or use a lotion that contains it. Just make sure the product offers at least SPF 30 and UVA/UVB protection.
