| I have to moisturize more. You may have found a moisturizer that works just fine in spring and summer. But as weather conditions change, so, too, should your skin care routine. Find an "ointment" moisturizer that's oil-based, rather than water-based, as the oil will create a protective layer on the skin that retains more moisture than a cream or lotion. (Hint: Many lotions labeled as "night creams" are oil-based.) But choose your oils with care because not all oils are appropriate for the face. Instead, look for "nonclogging" oils, like avocado oil, mineral oil, primrose oil, or almond oil. Shea oil -- or butter -- is controversial, because it can clog facial pores. And vegetable shortening, LaPlante says, is a really bad idea. "It would just sit on the skin," she says. "And it would be really greasy." You can also look for lotions containing "humectants," a class of substances (including glycerine, sorbitol, and alpha-hydroxy acids) that attract moisture to your skin. Slather on the Sunscreen. No, sunscreen isn't just for summertime. Winter sun -- combined with snow glare -- can still damage your skin. Try applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen to your face and your hands (if they're exposed) about 30 minutes before going outside. Reapply frequently if you stay outside a long time.

| When winter begins one of the first things that many women begin to worry about is how to keep their skin looking healthy and fresh, during those cold months. With winter comes dry chapped skin, not just on your face and hands but on the rest of your body as well. So what can you do? First you need to replace the moisture that has been lost from your skin. Don't take long very hot baths, since this is one of the best ways to dry out your skin. There are plenty of moisturizing soaps, and washes that you can use during your shower to help return moisture to the skin. You could also try getting a humidifier in certain rooms of your house. It may be a good idea to put on in your living room this way it will not only benefit you, but the entire family. You could also try using soaps and body washes that are scent free. The chemicals that are used to add those scents that we love so much, actually contribute to drying your skin out.

| Try to study at the time of day you work best. Some people work well early in the morning, others late at night. You know what works best for you. Make sure you are not tired and/or hungry when you study. Otherwise, you won't have the energy you need to concentrate. Also, maintain your physical fitness. Don't try to do two tasks at the same time. You won't be able to concentrate on either one very well. Concentration means focusing on one thing to the exclusion of all else. Break large tasks into a series of smaller tasks that you can complete one at a time. If you try to complete a large task all at once, you may feel overwhelmed and may be unable to maintain your concentration. It's hard to concentrate when you're tense. It's important to relax when working on a task that requires concentration. Meditation is helpful to many students.

| Tips to take care of your skin during the winter.
1. Hot water is something one must avoid in winter. As comfortable and relaxing as it may sound, a hot water bath must be avoided. Luke warm water will not take away the moisture from your skin.
2. Always carry a moisturizer with you if you want to have soft hydrated hands. Dry skin will make you static and keep ' shocking' people if you touch them.
3. Using a scrubber while having a bath will exfoliate the dry and dead skin leaving you feeling soft and fresh.
4. Before going out, always put on loads of moisturizer in your hands and feet. Apply moisturizer on your feet and wear socks and go to sleep. This will make sure the moisturizer has fully seeped into your skin making it soft and well hydrated next morning.
5. Don't forget your lips this winter. Lips get chapped very soon and also lose moisture easily. For those who feel that licking their lips will hydrate them are completely mistaken. In fact it will remove moisture from them at a faster pace. To avoid chapped lips, investing in a good lip balm is a good option.
6. Eat a lot of fish because they have omega 3 fatty acids in them which is excellent for the skin. For vegetarians, omega 3 fatty acid pills are available at various food counters. But these pills must be taken under a doctor's supervision.

| For me, I just use skin lotion. In winter, our skin will dry because of windy and cold air. The way to protect our skin not to be dry is using loton. The lotion I use in winter is moisturizing lotion, it helps our skin to be moist. I also take a shower with cold water because warm water cause my skin dry.
