Spend more time around people. If you want to make friends, you first need to put yourself out there somehow in order to meet people. If you're still in school, sit somewhere with other people, it doesn't have to be the 'popular' table, or a crowded one, but one with at least 2 other people. Remember, friends seldom come knocking on your door while you sit at home playing computer games.
Be a good listener. Many people think that in order to be seen as "friend material" they have to appear very interesting. Far more important than this, however, is the ability to show that you're interested in others.

For me,the best ways to make friends is greeting for the first time that i meet them.
then I'm going to introduce myself to them and ask the name of each person.
try to ask them about their favorite things to do but don't ask them about their personnel things.
Keep a good conversation with them and invite them to do the interesting activities that they like as well as us.

I think you should get your own back, thats what id do. hack these girls facebooks and send mean things to the other :L that would be hilarious. Act real nice to them though so they dont suspect you.
For the making new friends thing, i swapped to a new 'clique' in my third year at high school because my friends were pretty bitchy too, you just have to find someone you think you could really be friends with and talk to them about these girls. If theyre as bad as you say they are im sure you're not the only person who has problems with them (im asuming your in high school by the way) and ask these new people if it would be okay to hang out after school or go shopping at the weekend. You want friends who are actually nice people, not stupid point scoring little girls. You should also tell everyone what they've said about them
