I would like you all to share the quality of a good teacher..

We all know good teachers when we see them, and bad teachers too. I thought back over the teachers I’d loved and why I loved them. There were only a few, but they all had the following qualities in common.
1. Confidence. Belief in ourselves despite setbacks. Teachers encounter situations all the time that could be considered setbacks. Kids can be cruel, to each other and to teachers.
2. Patience. Some of my best teachers could have helped students through a mental breakdown. Not that they had to, but that they were so patient, they could have gone the distance.
3. True compassion for their students. I’m sure we’ve all encountered a bad teacher who didn’t care what our excuse was. Certainly, some excuses weren’t valid, but many were. The best teachers cared about their students as individuals and wanted to help them.
4. Understanding. Good teachers had understanding – not only the sixth sense mentioned above, but true understanding of how to teach.
5. The ability to look at life in a different way and to explain a topic in a different way.
6. Dedication to excellence. Good teachers want the best from their students and themselves.
7. Willingness to help student achieve. The best teachers are those that don’t stop teaching when the bell rings. They hold extra sessions for SAT prep, they reach out to students after class.

effective study and work habits, and an overall sense of respect in the classroom.

       A great teacher is very engaging and holds the attention of students in all discussions.

I think good teacher is the teacher who is good model to students. Teacher should be a good person in every way such as good teaching
- good behavior,
- public mind
- be knowledgeable in his/her subject
- have done proper lesson preparation beforehand
- know all the names of his/her students
- have excellent communication skills

Knowledge and love of the subject: If a teacher doesn’t know her material well, how can she hope to teach it to others? The best teachers truly love the subject they teach and are constantly trying to learn more about it.

Management: Good teachers have to be excellent managers. It’s not easy to keep a room full of students focused, keep up with grades and assignments, follow all the school’s rules, keep parents happy, and jump through all the state-mandated hoops and red tape.

Motivation: Teachers also have to serve as motivators. In order to be a quality teacher, one has to be able to motivate students. Good teachers have numerous motivational strategies in their “bag of tricks.”

If we think that we are in our family , such asbe like our children, it will
make us more take care and pay attention to them.

And , we should think that the student is future if Thailand , so we should

Good qualifications of teacher career can be found on a teacher who
1) manages a classroom very well and handle all unexpected problems happening in classroom.
2) works very hard to prepare his/ her lesson plans before class. Use any media to motivate students about the new lessons and study harder about what he/she is going to teach in class.
3) takes good care of students, feels willing to help all students in either homework or daily-life problems.
4) plays as a consultant to give some good advice to students or find some solutions for them.
5) is patient with any bad situations and controls his/her feelings to keep calm.
6) is flexible in work or teaching and understands what the students need to learn.
