Should girls be allowed to wear makeup to school?

Why would someone say no?

Makeup will not effect a girl's learning at all. If her parents want to let her wear makeup to school, that's between the child and her parents. Next, will we not allow girls to wear lotion or perfume? I mean, some people might say girls wear makeup 'cause they want to look older or get a boy's attention...Maybe they want to wear makeup to add some embellishment and add confidence. Not because they sex. So if I were a teacher I will allow my student wear make up to school if they want.

It really just depends on the age. If they're under ten than they shouldn't be allowed
to wear make-up but they're over ten than it's up to them.
Make-up makes girls feel happy and pretty but I don't think that heavy make-up should be allowed.
However,going to school is not about wearing makeup or the social scene,
it's about learning and education. Wearing makeup was originally intended
to attract men and that should not be a concern during school hours.
It may make you feel confident but you shouldn't need makeup to fuel your self-esteem.

Yes, if girls spend time doing their make up in the morning to attract attention of boys they could do some much more useful things such as revise for tests.Also, this distracts boys during lessons so it's affecting both genders negatively. O don't see the point as if you are going to date someone you should date them because they are nice but because of how bothered they are with makeup it's a waste of money. I go to an all girls school but people still wear makeup as there is a bot school across the road why? One the things I hate most is nail polish as I do not the point
Maybe a bit of concealer to hide spots but nothing else
They shouldn't be allowed as it is not needed
