What is your favorite festival?

My favorite festival is New Year. I always celebrate with my family.But this New Year is the best celebrate with my family. I think that many countries in the world celebrate New Year. Why people celebrate New Year? I thing that they hope that next year will be better. People in my hometown drink a lot of the New Year. Before I go join with my friends and my mother cooking lot of food and we go to buy some fireworks.I like New Year because in this day all people are happy and in the midnight on the sky are lot of light.

My favorite festival is Songkarn. Songkran's Festival is one of the most celebrated festivals in Thailand. Songkran Day, which occurs on April 13th, marks the New Year on the ancient Thai calendar. However, Thai people today consider January 1st as the new calendar year.
