Why women love shopping?

From the women blog I see many reasons why women love shopping :
1. They Enjoyed
When women have more money and time, you can bet they will go to one of the malls and shopping goods incarannya. They love this activity. For no reason, they seemed to fall in love with these shopping habits.

2. Trying New Things
Women are crazy spending assume that this activity is one way to discover new things. That they found when exploring the shopping center is different. Moreover, if they know that in one of the mall there is a store or a brand new fashion. Shopping spirit possessed by these women will also be given the passionate and fashion trends are always evolving.

3. Private Obsession
Women are the majority have love for themselves. So that they appear within a personal obsession. They are also willing to spend a lot of money just to satisfy yourself with grocery items bought.

4. Improve Mood
Most women go shopping when it was in a bad mood. Therefore, they are not reluctant to spend money for the sake of pleasing shopping and pampering herself.

5. Making Others Happy
Women who love shopping activity also love to make other people happy. That is, they are shopping not only for themselves, but they often also buy something for families, couples and even friends. Despite their crazy spending, but still have the desire to make others happy.

I am not one to want to shop all the time. Shoot, most of the time when I look at sales papers and stuff I don't want to bother either it's not my taste or too much outside my price range. I got things that I rather do most of the time than shop or be in the mall.  But heidi brought up a good point. Why do guys like football so much ( so much heck forbid if their women want to talk during the game! ) or why do they love being in a hardware store? I'm not asking this to be insulting, just to give you something to ponder on.
Because there are a lot of different type of clothes, makeup, whatever available to women. Many women like to see what they look like in different clothing or makeup. Men aren't pressured by society and marketed to as heavily as women are, so they don't really have as much clothing choices as women.

There is an interesting evolutionary answer to that question.

First of all, what men hate about shopping is spending lots of time choosing items to buy. Women usually either like it or don't find it so much annoying as men.

The reason for those two types of reactions is that women for many ages were gathering herbs and fruits, and men were hunting.

For a gatherer it is important to examine if fruit is ripe enough and not poisonous. You need to take your time Contrary, hunter has to react fast, or the beast will run away. So even if an iPod is not likely to run away from shelf, men still tend to make decisions to buy faster than women
