What are the dis advantage of online shopping?

Have you ever bought some goods on the internet? These are the bad things of online shopping that I have found by myself and I want to share to you guys !
1. You usually have to wait long periods of time to receive your sofa. Sometimes, this can even take up to a month or longer if being shipped from overseas. There could be delays on the delivery, or miscommunication and you can’t go to the store or get in contact with someone face to face. Usually, there is no one to ease your frustration about any delays that occur.

2. Shipping costs on your item can be extremely high in comparison to what you paid for the sofa, sometimes making the purchase not worth it.

3. Sometimes looks can be deceiving. You don't get to test the product before you buy it. What might have looked beautiful to you in picture might not live up to your expectations once received.

There are a lot of disadvantage of online shopping such as you can't visit with a friend while you "browse" through a mall, and stop for coffee, etc.You can't finger and handle products, or try them on as you decide whether to buy them.

The main disadvantage is - you can not receive the product immediately. you have to wait until the the product arrives. And you don't know about the actual quality of the product. Sometimes the description of the product might be different than the actual product. As a result you might end up with inferior quality product.

The disadvantages of online shopping are long time waiting, disappionting, and risk of deceit.
After we order the goods from the internet, we have to go for paying and after that
we have to wait for the seller send it to us. This process takes long time to wait for.
And when the goods we ordered arrive, it may doesn't like what we see in the internet.
It will make us disappointed.
Some cases, the sellers are cheater. They pretended that they have goods for sell and we buy it.
After we pay for that goods, they don't send the goods back to us and we can't contact them.

The disadvantages of online shopping

- Suppliers cannot be judged in the same way they can in a real store.
- Unscrupulous traders are able to hide behind good looking web sites
- It wont come until a few days later
- Sometimes the packet get lost and arrive later than expected.

There many disadvantages of online shopping!!!
- You have to wait for the product at least 2-3 days.
- You have to pay for a sale tax and also pay for delivery.
- It's quite risk that we will be cheated or not.
- You cannot buy a product that you need right now!.

You cannot know that they would sent the things to you
You cannot know where to have money back when you are cheated

I think online shopping is great. I’ve recently caught the online shopping bug and do most my shopping online. As a new mom I don't always have time to go do the store. I love the convenience of being able to shop at 2 in the morning and the ease of comparision shopping and knowing that i'm getting the best prices.

Buying furniture online is also great for that exact reason, multiple furniture stores at the click of a button. However, I think getting the feel for your sofa is VERY important. At Modern Sensibility we always encourage everyone to come to the store and sit on the sofas to see if they like them or not. Many people are pickier than others and seeing the furniture online may seem like a good idea to them at first, but then they receive it and it’s a big disaster. Now, add the frustration of exchange/returns on a sofa you’re not happy with spells bigger disaster! I think that’s the only drawback. Other than that, online shopping is a fun convenient way to shop. My only advice is be safe, be smart and make sure you’re buying from a reputable website. Do your research just like you would any other store.

In my opinion for this topic, online shopping has many disadvantages .
1. Can't check the real quality of the item
2. It might be the fake item
3. The seller might lie you about selling the item you want. Then he/she might disappear after getting money from you
4. Some of items might more expensive than common price

Disadvantages Of Online Shopping:

1. Security and personal information
The most concern that the shoppers are worried about is security and privacy. They are afraid of hackers, who often steal the password and money in their credit card. Therefore, shoppers should choose a credited and prestigious shop website, which offers high protection by encrypting customer’s private information into a cipher that hackers could not understand.

2. Cannot see the reality of the goods before buying
A picture of items handled by graphics programs makes you unable to see its real size, color and quality, so you could make a mistake of purchasing it from an online store. In addition, you do not know what sizes of items such as shoes, clothes, and footwear will suit you well. Therefore, before placing an order, choose credited stores where they sell items with a high quality or the shops you do shopping frequently from which you know what sizes is suitable for you.

3. Hard to give back the items you bought from a shop
Returning and exchanging goods at an online shop is harder and more complicated at a traditional shop when you discover that the items you bought is not exactly what you have expected. Therefore, it is a wise to read conditions of return policy, so in what cases you can return it such as technical errors, particular items not suiting you, or unwanted goods etc.

4. Higher price than normal if including shipping charges
It could maybe be more expensive than purchasing on the high street due to delivering a small quantity of goods. While doing an online shopping, you feel that goods are so cheap if you just look at the net price attaching to the picture. When the goods are delivered to you house, you properly get a shock on glancing the bills including net prices, taxes, and especially delivery fees. It is better to check the total price before placing an order.

5. Online shops could close suddenly.
While you are doing an online shopping with an exciting feeling, your feeling could be broken due to connection malfunction such as power cut, virus attacks.

6. Make people lazier.
Owing to the high technology, you do not need to do many hard tasks such as washing clothes by hands, long-distance walking, and routine tasks. Due to online shopping, you do not want to go out of your comfortable shelter and you just like sitting at your house to surf the internet or make a phone call for daily meals.

I'm a person who always shopping online and I like it so much because I don' t have time to walk around the shop and market.

- You can search for exactly what you’re looking for quicker. There are many online stores who specialize in a certain type of sofa or style that you may be looking for and a quick google search will bring you to that site. If you love knowing the newest styles, or having unique pieces then online shopping makes it easier to do so.

- Instead of driving around wasting gas or spending hours on the bus in travel time you can visit all the stores that you’re interested in at once. This eliminates time going from store to store to see what is available and at what price.

- Easier to find discounts on the sofa you’re looking for by “Googling”, going on Ebay, Amazon and many other websites out there offering deals. Online stores usually offer online specials as well, and there are multiple websites dedicated to sharing these deals with you.
