Why dog is the man best friend?

I think it's because of humanity's long relation and use of the dog, and its "loyalty" to its master.
Dogs have been used by humans for a long time for various purposes, such as hunting,
guarding and companions. Dogs have had a cozy relationship with people in the world.
In recent times, dogs have been portrayed as almost family members in American households.

In my opinion, because of dog's faithful, dog becomes human best friend.
Dogs love their owners and very honest.
I have heard many news about dog such as the dog that leads its blind owner to go to everywhere, the dog that wait for its owner at the train station util the end of the time,etc.

The unexpected day that I have first met my best friend, a little cute puppy named “Buddy”, at the riverside of my village was very memorable.
I found him wounded and scared under the big green tree.
I tried to help him by taking him to the pet care near there.
During the waling, Buddy showed me some his intelligence.
He gave me a signal by barking that the car was speeding towards me when I was crossing the street.
I thought he wanted me to avoid from danger.
I found that it was the beginning of our good relationship which was extraordinary that we helped each other like the best friend.

That's why dogs become my best friend and I love them so much.
