Why animal testing is wrong?

I think that animal testing is very wrong. Animals have done no wrong to us, but yet we harm them.
Is it right to test on animals? Is it right to take their freedom and life from them? The animals have been poisoned, infected with drugs, forced to inhale toxic chemicals, burned, and even cut. Do the animals deserve this cruel punishment? The animals are tested on for our own safety. But do you think it is necessary for the poor innocent animals to die over us? What if it was your pet that got poisoned and died from being tested on? A lot of animals are being tested on. How do you feel?
I absolutely feel sad. ;( I think we should choose herbs to cure people more than kill these animal.

For me, Animal testing is bad and wrong. 
It is a wrong way because animal are valuable like human.
Animals could become dangerous and mistreated.
We should find a new way to find a good medicine.
Do no harm animal!.

It's wrong because we hurt or kill them but they don't do anything wrong.
In buddhist, it's a sin. We believe that everyone love their life, it's very bad if we kill them.
We should live peacefully without hurting other people although they are animal.
If we hurt or kill them, we will receive what we do to them.

In fact, The animal has a life as same as human so If the tester use animal to testing something for the research that is wrong because If mean they try to kill 1 life.

Animal testing has killed millions of animals each year.

If animal testing continues, these animals could get instinct.

So, If people already know animal testing is cruel, why do they continue animal testing?

It's not wrong.Animal testing is essential to the development of medicine.
Most tests are carried out on rats under laboratory conditions.
If they didn't do the tests on animals, they'd be doing the tests on us.
If the time ever came for you to try out an experimental drug
(without prior tests to make sure it was safe),
and you had no other option than to take the drug to keep you alive,
I'm sure you'd be a little nervous about taking it.
