If you are a slow reader, how can you amend?

There are nine ways to amend you reading.
1. The first thing you should do is, read books that you know you understand. One way to find out is, the ten finger rule: As you read the first chapter of the book, put up a finger for the words that you do not understand as you finish the chapter.
2. Start reading the book(s) suitable for you.
3. Read at least 5 times a week, gradually reading the book(s) faster every day.
4. After a month, you would find that you would be reading rather quickly!
5. Sometimes you ponder for a while on one word. Use context clues to find out what that word means.
6. Then read as much as you can in a day but only by understanding it .
7. Do not stop at every word; try to grasp whole sentence at a time .
8. Never skim through a book as you will not understand the concept as much. Skimming will also leave you questioned of what happened making you read the book again.
9. Take a pause after the full stop so you can understand the meaning better.

I'm one person who has this problem.
I try to read more , read everything I can and think along
what should it be, why it says that, when it happens.
Wh- question will help you know main point better.

This semester, I have also learnt critical reading , I read slowly
because it is hard fir me to clarify it clearly. I solve it by reading many times
and ask my lovely friends.

Knowing the "how" of speed reading is only the first step. You have to practice it to get good at it. Here are some tips that will help you break poor reading habits and master the speed reading skills discussed above.
Practice, practice, practice – you have to use your skills on a regular basis. It took you several years to learn to read, and it will take time to improve your reading skills.
Choose easy material to start with – when you begin speed reading, don't use a challenging textbook. Read something like a novel or travel writing, which you can understand and enjoy with a quick once-over.
Speed read appropriately – not everything you read lends itself to speed reading.
Legal documents, the draft annual report, or even the letter you receive from a loved one in the mail – these are better read in their entirety, sub-vocalizations and all.
If you need to understand the message completely, memorize the information, discuss it in detail, analyze it thoroughly, or simply enjoy the prose the way the author intended, then speed reading is the wrong approach. (Here, it helps to choose an appropriate reading strategy before you start.)
Use a pointer or other device to help push your reading speed – when you quickly draw a card down the page, or run your finger back and forth, you force your eyes and brain to keep pace.
Take a step back and use the material's structure – this includes skimming information to get a feel for the organization and layout of the text, looking for bolded words and headings, and looking for the ways in which the author transitions from one topic to the next.

If I'm reading the book slow. My first step is to fix the books I could find in the book. Is a book that I do. And a simple vocabulary. Then began to practice reading with your eyes in the middle of a sentence or line is for us to read. Read the overview of a sentence or line, and if we read it this way for a while. We are accustomed to reading speed and comprehension, or catch the Maidan in the sentence itself.
