Checking understanding.
When you as Teacher explain or tell the students something new you shall always make question(s) after the explanation in order that you can confirm that your message has been correctly understood.
The UN is short form for the United Nations: the UN is located on Manhattan in New York, United States of America. The UN has at present 193 Member States.
Check question to the class could be “What does UN mean?” “In which country is the United Nations located?” “How many countries of the world are today members of the UN?”
