How do we conserve natural resources?

There are many way to conserve natural resources, such as
-Use compost and mulch on your flower beds, vegetable gardens, trees and shrubs.
Both prevent the evaporation of water from the soil, ensuring
that water is held where the plants need it.  
-Opt for low water use plants. Once these plants are established
they will survive on rainwater alone.
Use an outdoor water timer to ensure that you use the right amount
of water, at the right time and frequency.
-Halve water usage in the garden by using drip irrigation or a soaker hose.
-Water early in the morning as midday watering results in a significant
amount of water evaporating.
Direct any downspouts onto your lawn, on to rain gardens

- Reuse brown paper bags to line your trash can instead of plastic liners.
- Don't leave water running needlessly.
- Plant things that doesn't require a lot of water.
- Recycle everything you can; newspaper, cans, glass, aluminum, foil, and pans.
- Use cloth diapers. The plastic diapers doesn't break down in landfills.

This is some easy ways to conserve the natural resources.


- Water your lawn during the evening, when it is cooler and dryer. Watering in the morning, when it is hot and dry, leads to water evaporation.
- Pick up some earth-bags at your local grocery store. Say no to both, “paper” and “plastic!”
- Replace your old light bulbs with energy saving fluorescent bulbs. Sure, they may cost more money, but you will save on your energy bill in the future and they last longer.
- Try shortening your shower by just a minute.
- Collect rainwater and save it to water your lawn.
- Set your fridge to be between 36-38 F degrees and freezer to be between 0-5 F degrees.
- UNPLUG unused appliances. Even when powered off, plugged-in appliances use electricity.
- Plant trees to shade your home. You can save money on air conditioning.
- Print double-sided. If possible, advocate to make your office or school paper-free.
- Buy used furniture and re-purpose it. You save money and trees (plus, create original furniture!)
- Try a dimmer switch. They’re easy to install and save energy!
- Turn the computer off when you go to sleep.

Today, most of the people are finding many ways for conserving natural resources. One of the great option before is Hydro-power and solar power. Power can be generated from these sources and these are the best ways for natural resources conservation like fossil fuels. There is also way to conserve natural resource like trees. It can be conserve through recycling process. Many products come from the trees like papers, cups, cardboards and envelopes. By recycling these products you can reduce the number of trees cut down a year. One should make the most use of these paper products without being wasteful and then recycle them. This is one great way for conserving natural resources.

To protect the natural resources !
- We should protect wildlife. Though hunting is not allowed even then the
persons are doing so. For this educated young should teach the lesson of wildlife act.
- We must develop energy saving methods to avoid wastage of energy.
We should remember "energy saved is energy produced."
- We should recycle the waste and waste water for agriculture purposes.
- We should make habit for waste disposal, compose and to restore biodiversity.
