Art is everything. It's impossible to look anywhere in this world and not see an artist's creation or some aspect of art. It allows everybody to express themselves in any way necessary. Art doesn't discriminate or stereotype or hate, it provides an outlet for all emotions under the sun. Without art, the world would be without color, design, literature, music, poetry, dance, everything. Art is one of the most powerful ways kids communicate about themselves and the world around them. The language of art is multi-sensory and encourages young people to express their feelings, emotions, thoughts and ideas. There is no right answer to art. Art and creativity empowers kids to develop their curiosity and to learning about a diversity of personal and cultural expressions; social interaction and collaboration; experiment with a range of materials and mediums; find new ways of learning and problem solving.
