Two third constituent of human body is dependent on water.
As an important mechanic, body cannot carry out & sustain its functions without water.
Water controls the functioning of different anatomical units comprising human body.
Also described as universal solvent, it forms the foundation of different biological activities.
Water serves as a major agent of detoxification.
Regulation of temperature and that of metabolism is facilitated through water.
Water provides for effective lubrication.
Besides being the basis of saliva and fluid guarding the joint system, water prevents human body from diseases of different kinds.
Each &every human cell needs water for its sustenance, be it the blood cell or neuron the smallest unit of the nervous system.
Water has its part to play in the transportation of nutrients.
As far as the absorption of nutrients is concerned, water has its role to offer.

A healthy sedentary adult living in a temperate climate should drink 1.5 litres of water per day. This threshold of drinking water enables to balance water losses and keep one’s body properly hydrated. Water is a major constituent of our bodies and vital organs. It provides five vital functions in our body :
1.Water is involved in many of our body’s vital functions
Cell life
Water is a carrier, distributing essential nutrients to cells, such as minerals, vitamins and glucose.
2. Chemical and metabolic reactions
Water removes waste products including toxins that the organs’ cells reject, and removes them through urines and faeces.
3. Body temperature regulation
Water has a large heat capacity which helps limit changes in body temperature in a warm or a cold environment. Water allows the body to release heat when ambient temperature is higher than body temperature (1). The body begins to sweat, and the evaporation of water from the skin surface very efficiently cools the body.

All information here will tell you why water importance of water for our body. ^^

-Temperature
The body water has an important role as a thermoregulator, regulating the overall body temperature by helping dissipate heat. If the body becomes too hot, water is lost through sweat and the evaporation of this sweat from the skin surface removes heat from the body. Sweating is the most effective way that the body prevents itself from overheating.

-Kidneys
An adequate water intake is essential to keep the kidneys working well, helping them to remove waste products and excess nutrients mainly via urine. The kidneys regulate the body’s water levels by increasing or decreasing the flow of urine. The kidneys also work to control normal levels of sodium and other electrolytes. A well-hydrated healthy person’s kidneys filter approximately 180 litres of water each day: clearly most of this has to be reabsorbed to prevent excessive losses from the body.

-Heart
Fluids are important for healthy heart function and the correct regulation of water balance is essential to keep blood pressure within the healthy range. Dehydration decreases cardiac output which may lead to increases in heart rate and a fall in blood pressure. The circulatory system delivers a constant supply of oxygen to the brain, muscles and to all other tissues.

-Cells
Hydration in the body is important for transporting carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals and other important nutrients and oxygen to the cells. The cells then produce energy for the body to function. Furthermore, hydration facilitates disposal of the waste products of metabolism, enabling the right cellular chemical function.

-Brain
Adequate hydration is important for proper functioning of the brain. When we are well hydrated, brain cells are better supplied with fresh, oxygen-laden blood, and the brain remains alert. Mild dehydration, a 1% to 2% loss in body weight, can impair the ability to concentrate. Loss of more than 2% body weight due to dehydration can affect the brain’s processing abilities and impair short-term memory.

Clear healthy skin
People who have dry, dull skin and/or certain skin conditions are often encouraged to drink more water. This is because having sufficient fluids within the body helps to replenish skin tissues, maintain the elasticity of skin tissues and to ensure that the skin (and other tissues) are sufficiently hydrated.

The importance of water in the body are
1.Water helps the fetus develop perfect . And grow into healthy adults .
2.Water helps to create energy. And energy is stored in the body as an energy source other chemicals in the body.
3 Energy is made up of water in the stream to help stimulate nerve cells .
4.Water helps to create a substance that looks like glue. This will interface to the adjacent wall Bhosle .
5.Water helps to maintain the moisture of the internal organs of the body wall .
6.Water helps to maintain the volume and concentration of Body fluids such as blood and lymph to normal.
7.Water helps regulate body temperature. Excretion of toxins and harmful substances from the body through sweat, urine and breathing.
8.Water is essential to the structure and function of the skin.
9.Water helps to transport the chemicals produced by the brain to various parts of the body. The amount of water in the body can affect the function of various proteins and enzymes
10.Our bodies lose water to about 4 liters a day , so we had to find a way to compensate for the loss by drinking water .
