Encourage students to guess or try:

-Have a guess! What could it be?

You can also explain the meaning of a new word through
contextualized examples and descriptions of typical use,
location, and so on:
-This means the same as "he left".
-You use it for opening the door.
-You can find it on the computer keyboard.
