Working independently in the language laboratory

To tell students to work independently in the language laboratory:

You’ll have the chance to watch an extract/a scene on video.
We’ll watch a short clip of a documentary.
I’ll be monitoring you as you work.
I’ll be able to follow your progress from my console.
Don’t be surprised to hear me spoke to you over the intercom.
Then there’ll be a task to complete.
You’ll then participate in an information sharing activity.
We’ll have a negotiation/discussion task to do.
