| Trees are our best friends. They play a very important role in our life. We can not live without them. They give us timber, paper and firewood.Timber is used in making houses, train compartments, big boxes, tools etc. Without paper life may be difficult for us. Paper is necessary for study and writing. People in villages use firewood to cook meals. They use wood to build houses, huts, carts and agriculture tools. Trees also give us food, gum and medicine. They also add to the beauty of life. Gardens can not be charming without them. We need them for oxygen and good health. Trees also help to control pollution: They absorb carbon dioxide. They improve our environment. They cause rainfall and protect water resources under the ground. They prevent floods and droughts. Therefore, we should try our best to grow more trees. Govt. and social welfare societies should start a movement. There should be awards for those persons who grow more trees. | |

| Trees are natures air conditioners. In one year the average tree inhales 26 pounds of carbon dioxide, the amount emitted by a car on an 11,000 mile trip. This same tree will in turn exhale enough oxygen to keep a family of 4 breathing for a year. Your trees treat the carbon dioxide they take in. The foliage uses the carbon in the gas to make sugars and starches. The leftover oxygen is released back into the air. We could not sit here today and breathe the clean air we are breathing without our trees. Trees are the greatest collectors of the suns energy. All energy comes from the sun and our trees collect and store more of it than anything else in the world. The benefits of trees can be divided into two general areas. Direct benefits, such as cool from shade or increased property value and indirect benefits. Indirect benefits impact you, the tree owner and the community in real, but less tangible ways. In fact, indirect benefits from trees are more numerous than direct benefits. These benefits include filtration and absorption of air pollutants, reduced storm water run off, storing of the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide and beneficial impact on the general quality of life. Perhaps the greatest contribution our trees make is an emotional one. People who live in cities brighten up at the site of a tree, the scrawniest saplings challenging the concrete. Silently in our minds they rise as symbols of stability, dignity, adventure, comfort and knowledge. Maybe we should stop for a moment and wonder how many trees will be left for our children and grandchildren.

| The trees are so important now but they are decrease everyday. So that can help abut the global warming in the earth. Trees are essential to our world and offer a wide range of benefits to our environment. Trees play a major role in purifying the air we breathe. The air is filtered by the Trees and returned to the atmosphere at the time of photosynthesis. Trees provide us with oxygen, which is essential for the existence of life, “WITHOUT TREES THERE WOULD BE NO LIFE”. The dust particles & other pollutants, which causes major diseases like asthma and lung cancer, get stuck on the leaves of the trees resulting in fresh air reaching us. Rain then washes the pollutants to the ground. Leaves absorb pollutants such as Ozone, Carbon monoxide, Carbon dioxide and Sulphur dioxide and give off oxygen.

| For me, I think many trees give O2 to human. Its has many benefits for us. Trees also help to control pollution, for example, air pollution, soil pollution ,and water pullution. The trees improve our environment. They cause rainfall and protect water resources under the ground, too.

| Trees are essential to our world and offer a wide range of benefits to our environment.
The list of benefits that Trees provide is so long that one might believe its exaggeration, but it is not. Reduced pollution, erosion control, wildlife habitat, energy saving & enhanced human comfort are all well known long term consequences of Tree Planting.
Planting Trees is one of the cheapest and most effective ways to bring about widespread improvement in the environment & the quality of life of an area. Even in the areas with over concreted land & water shortage of a mega polis like Delhi, plants & Trees play a huge rate n regulating temperature and air quality.

| Trees are an important part of every community. Our streets, parks, playgrounds and backyards are lined with trees that create a peaceful, aesthetically pleasing environment. Trees increase our quality of life by bringing natural elements and wildlife habitats into urban settings. We gather under the cool shade they provide during outdoor activities with family and friends. Many neighborhoods are also the home of very old trees that serve as historic landmarks and a great source of town pride. In addition, architectural and engineering functions are served by your community's trees. They frame landscapes, create beautiful backgrounds and enhance building designs. Trees can provide privacy, emphasize beautiful views, and screen unsightly areas. Noise from roadways and other urban activities is muffled by well-placed trees that serve as sound barriers. As a matter of fact, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency states that trees can reduce bothersome noise by up to 50% and mask unwanted noises with pleasant, natural sounds. Using trees in cities to deflect the sunlight reduces the heat island effect caused by pavement and commercial buildings.

| Benefits of Trees Trees clean the air Trees absorb odors and pollutant gases (nitrogen oxides, ammonia, sulfur dioxide and ozone) and filter particulates out of the air by trapping them on their leaves and bark. Trees provide oxygen In one year an acre of mature trees can provide enough oxygen for 18 people. Trees cool the streets and the city Average temperatures in Los Angeles have risen 6°F in the last 50 years as tree coverage has declined and the number of heat-absorbing roads and buildings has increased. Trees cool the city by up to 10°F, by shading our homes and streets, breaking up urban “heat islands” and releasing water vapor into the air through their leaves. jiraprapa 015 4EN | |

| Trees contribute to their environment by providing oxygen, improving air quality, climate amelioration, conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife. During the process of photosynthesis, trees take in carbon dioxide and produce the oxygen we breathe.
